+ 此作品是我們迄今製作最高的水泥建築微縮模型，精準重現香港地標康樂大廈（現怡和大廈）。由建築師木下一（James H. Kinoshita）與Palmer & Turner合作設計，完美還原其標誌性的「月洞門」圓窗結構與現代主義立面細節。 木下一先生於1973年主持設計這棟當時亞洲第一高樓時，首創預鑄組件技術與中西合璧美學。這棟52層摩天大廈採用創新預鑄技術建造，獨特的蜂巢式外牆成為中環天際線的標誌性存在，象徵著香港經濟起飛的黃金時代。 今年為此52層摩天大廈落成52週年，我們除了在工藝上的高度突破之外，並以此向這座傳奇建築致敬。 康樂大廈與中環郵政總局只有一街之隔，故此我們特別加入同樣比例及同一年代落成的「迷你版郵政總局」作為組合，更能突顯中環海旁的獨特風景。 ----------------------------------- This is our tallest cement architectural miniature to date, accurately recreating Hong Kong's landmark Connaught Centre (now Jardine House). Designed through collaboration between Japanese architect James H. Kinoshita and Hong Kong's Palmer & Turner Architects, it perfectly restores the iconic "moon gate" circular windows and modernist façade details. In 1973, Kinoshita led the design of this then-tallest building in Asia, pioneering prefabricated component technology and fusion aesthetics. The 52-story skyscraper's innovative prefabrication techniques created its unique honeycomb exterior that defines Central's skyline, symbolizing Hong Kong's economic golden era. This model demonstrates our breakthrough in cement casting craftsmanship while paying tribute to this architectural masterpiece. As Connaught Building is just across the street from the Central General Post Office, we have specially incorporated a "mini General Post Office" of the same proportions and built in the same era into the composition to further highlight the unique scenery of the Central waterfront.

Characteristics of Cement

  • Cement is a dynamic material, and minor imperfections during the production process are inevitable, making each piece unique.
  • During the handcrafting process, the presence of fine pores, spots, water marks, scratches, etc. are all normal phenomena. If you are a perfectionist, cement might not be your choice.
  • The unique aspect of our product lies in its attention to the architectural details and markings. Therefore, the proportions between each architectural element are not absolutely accurate. Instead, our focus is on visual balance.
